1 pkg (510 g) Betty Crocker* SuperMoist* Butter Pecan Cake Mix
1 cup (250 mL) water
1/3 cup (75 mL) butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup (125 mL) maple syrup or maple-flavoured syrup
1/2 cup (125 mL) chopped pecans, toasted
1 tub (340 g) Betty Crocker* Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting
Chopped pecans, toasted (for garnish)
To toast the pecans, spread in a shallow ungreased pan; bake uncovered in a 350ºF oven 6 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until light brown.
